4. A lot of full-time work combined with few months of part-time freelancing

But to achieve a higher salary as a freelancer, you’ll have to work full-time at least for some time. So the lifestyle of constant traveling might not work, after all. But there’s a solution. If you want to visit and experience Amsterdam, you’ll simply book an Airbnb for at least a month. You’ll work full hours from Monday to Thursday, and you’ll have the weekend for exploring.
When you need more money because you’re trying to save for a new trip, you’ll work full-time for an entire month. Then, when you arrive at the new destination, you’ll take a whole week off, so you can explore a bit and get used to the place. When you start working, you can opt for a part-time schedule to support your basic needs.
It all boils down to having masterful time management skills.
Maybe you won’t live like royalty per se. Such a lifestyle won’t afford you luxurious hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. But it will give you tons of flexibility and enough time to enjoy life to the fullest. That’s better than what royal-family members do on their trips. Their lives are rather boring, don’t you think?
And if you really want luxury, then start a travel blog. The competition in that niche is brutal and you have to work extra hard to make things happen. You’ll have to pay for your first trips all by yourself. But if you become an influencer, hotels and restaurants might pay you to promote them. 5. Millennials become part of communities
So let’s say you want to live in South Africa for two months. Do you just book your flight, find an Airbnb and head off?
