Fiverr is the world’s largest marketplace for digital services.

What Is Fiverr?
In less than a decade, Fiverr has grown into an enormous online marketplace for freelance services.
The services provided begin at a cost of only $5 which is how the platform was named.
Fiverr lists over 100,000 sellers offering literally millions of ‘gigs’ to choose from. A gig on Fiverr is their term for any of their outsourcing jobs listed.
A gig is purchased every 4 seconds and the total number of gigs completed is now over 50 million.

The Old Fiverr Affiliate Program Commission Structure
If you have been promoting Fiverr as an affiliate for a while, you’re probably already familiar with all the acronyms that apply to the program and the system it uses to calculate your affiliate commissions.
If you are new to promoting Fiverr as an affiliate, here’s how the old commission structure worked.
Commissions on Fiverr were based on two factors: the CPA (cost-per-acquisition) of first-time buyers (FTB) and the revenue from orders.
- The CPA commission was set at $15 to $150, depending on the service category in which the FTB made its first purchase
- The Rev Share commission is a percentage of the order value for other purchases a referred user makes within the first 12 months
- A combination of these two commissions is called the Fiverr Hybrid model
The New Fiverr Affiliate Program Commission Plan 2024
While the old commission plans had a tiered approach that provided higher commissions for specialized gig categories, the new Fiverr commission plans are now based on purchase values.
Here’s how it breaks down:
Fiverr
CPA is now calculated as 25% of the FTB amount plus 10% RevShare of all other orders, excluding FTB, for 12 months.
Compared to the old structure, this new system is based on buyer actions. Aside from this being more effective, it also provides higher earning potential for affiliates who drive purchases to higher-ticket items.
Although there is a maximum limit of $500 for CPA, the affiliate earnings are still expected to be higher than the old structure.
Fiverr Pro
The CPA under the new plan is calculated as 70% of the FTB amount plus 10% RevShare on all other orders, excluding FTB, for 12 months
On Fiverr Pro, you’ll see a transition from a fixed CPA with a spending threshold to a percentage-based CPA with extended revenue sharing.
While there is still a CPA cap of $500, you the affiliate will still earn more than the $100 CPA commission from the old plan.
Logo Maker
$30 fixed CPA for the FTB plus 10% RevShare on all other orders, excluding FTB, for 12 months.
Commissions on Logo Maker orders are now higher with additional revenue sharing on orders beyond first-time purchases.
Compared to the old commission plan, that included only a fixed $30 CPA for every new Logo Maker order, this new structure definitely pays you more earnings.*
*Other details: For all plans with dynamic CPA, a cap of $500 is in place to ensure scalability and fair rewards.
In spite of the limit, the new structure still offers higher earning potential for Fiverr affiliates than the old plan.
The revenue sharing system is also more attractive as the 10% RevShare period is reset when a user converts to a Fiverr Business account within 12 months from the FTB.

How Does Fiverr Pay Out Affiliate Commissions?
Once your affiliate account reaches a balance of $100 you will be able to receive a payment.
If you haven’t reached the $100 threshold, your earnings will continue to accumulate.
Fiverr Affiliates pays out commissions once per month.
There are three payment methods they use:
- For monthly commissions under $1,000 – Choose PayPal or Payoneer
- For monthly commissions over $1,000 – Wire transfer only
If you sign up as a Private Account, you can claim a payment request right from your dashboard, and you will be paid automatically.
Company Accounts are required to upload their own invoice once claiming a payment request.
Fiverr Referral Program
If you are good at recruiting other affiliates, you’ll love the Fiverr referral program.
The Fiver referral program will pay you an additional 10% commissions on the revenue production of all of your referred affiliates.
How do I generate a Fiverr sub-affiliate link?
- Login to your affiliate account
- Go to the “Sub Affiliates” tab (on the left of the sidebar) and choose the “Sub Affiliate Links”
- Copy the link by clicking on the “Copy to clipboard” icon

- A solid support team that is easy to reach
Cons:
- You get paid for first-time buyers only
- Creating deep links can be a royal PIA
- Commissions are capped on some of the highest prices Fiverr services
- High-earning affiliates that make more than $1000 per month can only get payouts via bank wire (not that big of deal for most people)

Fiverr’s affiliate program is a winner. Not only are the payout terms generous, but they have provided you with all of the tools and support you need to really make high profits as an affiliate.
The outsourcing services they sell are as in-demand as they are evergreen so this marketplace isn’t going anywhere. Fiverr is a great place to plant your roots as an affiliate and build a long-term lucrative relationship.
