How To Make A Killing In The Online Jewelry Niche
E-retail spending is exploding and is forecasted to increase 62% by 2016 according to Forrester Research Inc.
“This is particularly true of categories such as apparel and jewelry, which have integrated rich selling tools such as zoom, color swatching, and configurators, as well as office supply stores, which have broader payment options (e.g., small business purchase orders online) and subscription plans for their buyers” – Forrester analyst Sucharita Mulpuru.
If you’re looking for another affiliate niche to earn serious money look no further than one of ecommerces fastest growing market segments: online jewelry.
If you’re interested in, or already in, the affiliate jewelry niche I have a special opportunity for you. I’ve been approached by a reputable online jewelry company that is looking for some quality, experienced affiliates interested in their lucrative private affiliate offer.
If you’re interested in participating in this program please contact me (Bill) by emailing beachroulette @ gmail.com. They’re only looking for 10-12 serious producers to join this private offer so I’ve been asked to pre-screen anyone interested. Here are some highlights of the program:
Commission on each successful sale: 7% on net sale, meaning if item sells online for $1000 and a 5% discount is given (which is $50), then you the affiliate gets 7% on the $950.
Subsequent sales: during the full first year (from the moment a buyer pays us), if the buyer comes back and purchases another item, affiliate will enjoy a 2.5% commission on net sale. This is big!
Maximum commission: the commission rate is as follows based on amount of purchase:
- $0-$10,000 = 7% on net sale ($700 max)
- $10,001-$20,000 = 6.5% on net sale ($1300 max)
- $20,001-$30,000 = 6.0% on net sale ($1800 max)
- $30,001-$50,000 = 5.5% on net sale ($2,750 max)
- $50,001-$100,000 = 5% on net sale ($5000 max)
- $100,001+ = 2.5% on net sale (no limit)
This structure is put in place due to lower margins on big ticket items.
Volume after 1 year (based on subsequent sales) Bonus (AKA super Affiliate)
After the end of year 1, we review total sales per Affiliate: if total sales are over $1,000,000 then affiliate will get a 0.5% bonus ($5000 max)
Cookie Timeline Bonus: if a buyer buys after the initial 60 day cookie, the sale will still count but at a reduced rate
- 0-60 days: 7%
- 61-75 days: 6%
- 76-90 days: 5%
- 90-120 days: 2.5%
These commission rates will apply and take over from the commission rates above. Meaning if on day 118 a client comes and buys a $25,000 item, the rate is 2.5% and not 6%. If a guy comes on day 110 comes and purchases a $120,000 item, affiliate gets 2.5%.
Affiliate gets paid, once 30 days have passed from payment of buyer. (Reason being that we have a 30 day money back guarantee policy, so we have to wait and see if anything is returned before we can pay).
